Update: April 8, 2020

Easter holidays are coming up in many parts of the world and for many of us it will be a different celebration, without family get-togethers and friends. Despite this, Roxtec wishes you a Happy Easter and good health!

Update: April 6, 2020

The overall supply situation at Roxtec is still relatively unaffected. Our main production site and main suppliers are operational. Due to closure of countries, longer lead-times for some product groups may occur. Transportations of goods will be a challenge as countries impose stricter border controls and the availability of land, air and sea freight options are reduced. We continue to take mitigation actions as previously stated.

As of today, the majority of our global supply chain is still unaffected and our main production sites and main suppliers are still operational. Due to closure of countries, longer lead-times for some product groups may occur. Update: March 27, 2020

Roxtec has today decided to further extend the validity of some previously made decisions: 

  • All international travel is cancelled for Roxtec Group until 17 April.
  • All national travel is cancelled for Roxtec International AB until 17 April.
  • All external visits to Roxtec HQ as well as all Roxtec HQ visits to external parties are cancelled until 17 April.

These decisions will be re-evaluated before 17 April.

As of today, the majority of our global supply chain is still unaffected and our main production sites and main suppliers are still operational. Due to closure of countries, longer lead-times for some product groups may occur. Transportations of goods will be a challenge as countries impose stricter border controls and the availability of land, air and sea freight options are reduced.  

The following mitigation actions have been taken:  

  • Daily follow up of critical productions sites and suppliers on their status and preventive actions 
  • Securing raw material supply and stocks to the greatest possible extent 
  • Increased inventory of semi-finished and finished products 
  • Pre-booking of sea freights and air freights 
  • Alternative transportation routes i.e. train from Europe to Asia

Roxtec continues to closely follow and respond to the Covid-19 outbreak in all our markets. We thoroughly follow the advice and regulations from government and health authorities on global and national level.

As a safety driven company our aim is to protect life and assets and that extends to the best interest of our staff and our clients in the unchartered waters in which we now find ourselves.

As of today, the majority of our global supply chain is still unaffected and all our production sites and suppliers are still operational. The interruptions we have encountered so far have been managed. Transportations of goods to and from Sweden will be a challenge as countries impose stricter border controls and the availability of land, air and sea freight options are reduced. 

The following mitigation actions have been taken: 

  • Daily follow up of critical productions sites and suppliers on their status and preventive actions
  • Securing raw material supply and stocks to the greatest possible extent
  • Increased inventory of semi-finished and finished products
  • Pre-booking of sea freights and air freights
  • Alternative transportation routes i.e. train from Europe to Asia

Update: March 18, 2020

Roxtec monitors the Covid-19 outbreak closely in each country where we are active. 

Our global supply chain is still unaffected and all our production sites are fully operational, without any interruptions. 

As of today, our cargo is still shipped as booked. There are indications in the market that bottlenecks in the transport area might occur.  Mitigation actions to ensure continuous operations are in place.

Our cancellation of visits and travelling remains as previously stated. This decision is valid until 31 March and will be re-evaluated depending on the actual situation then.

Update: March 13, 2020

Roxtec monitors the Covid-19 outbreak closely in each country where we are active. 

Our global supply chain is as of today unaffected and all our production sites are fully operational, without any interruptions. Should anything change, we will update accordingly.

As a further measure against the spreading of the Covid-19 virus, Roxtec International cancels all visits to the corporate headquarters in Sweden as of Monday March 16. This decision is valid until 31 March and will be re-evaluated depending on the actual situation then.

Update: 9 March 2020

Roxtec has an international travel stop until March 31st. In line with this decision , all international visits to our headquarters in Karlskrona, Sweden, have been cancelled until March 31st.  This decision will be re-evaluated depending on the situation at that time.

We are closely monitoring the development of the outbreak and its potentially harmful impact on our global supply chain.  All our production sites are fully operational, without any interruptions. Should anything change, we will update accordingly.
