Roxtec sealing and clamping solutions

Roxtec CRF – our compact all-in-one sealing solution

The flexible Roxtec CRF system meets the strictest standards for fire resistance, ingress protection and vibration resistance, and allows for easy installation and retrofit. You can use either Roxtec CM and CM PPS sealing modules that adapt to cables and conduits of many sizes or Roxtec CRF and CRF PPS modules that are ideal for high-speed installation and serial production with already known cable and conduit sizes. The PPS versions contain intumescent material which expands to protect plastic conduit applications in case of fire.

Fire protection of plastic conduit penetrations

More technical services on rail vehicles mean more small cables and wires to route and more plastic conduit penetrations to seal. This requires efficient fire protection of plastic conduit penetrations. Roxtec RM PPS, CM PPS and CRF PPS sealing modules fulfill the requirements set in the EN 45545-2 and EN 45545-3 standards, achieving the highest hazard level, HL3, and a fire integrity of up to E60.

Efficient solutions for cable clamping

Cable failure can cause standstill and delays in passenger traffic. Roxtec cable clamping solutions contribute to reliable operation. The excellent cable retention capabilities protect cables from damage and extend cable lifetime. Roxtec experts within cable management can solve your cable clamping need with a standard, an adapted or a customized solution.

A considerable amount of the world’s CO₂ emissions come from the transportation of people and goods. Creating sustainable transportation is one of the greatest challenges for the transportation sector. We support our customers in fulfilling their sustainability promises by offering lightweight yet robust sealing solutions. By reducing the total weight of the train, we can help you reduce your environmental footprint. To further support you in making sustainable choices, we can provide our customers with detailed product information including environmental data such as carbon emissions and circularity-related metrics. We support our customers upon requests and can provide environmental product declarations (EPD) which follows the ISO LCA standards; 14040:2006, Life Cycle Assessment: Principles and framework, 14044:2006, Lifecycle Assessment: Requirements and guidelines, and 14025:2006 Type III environmental declarations. By comparing calculations, we can help you find the most suitable Roxtec seal from a technical perspective as well as from an eco-design approach.
