Roxtec seals keep dust out and prevent water from entering and damaging equipment during high pressure hosing. If compared to traditional cable glands, Roxtec products also make it easier to clean the machines.

Haas-Meincke A/S has developed the machines to ensure high reliability in production and a high level of hygiene. The previous solution using cable glands often gave rise to problems of hygiene due to the accumulation of debris. The Roxtec solution provides a smooth surface that is proof against moisture ingress even under high pressure hosing.
Roxtec seals ensure that cable failures are less frequent, which helps avoid unnecessary machine downtime. If a cable should fail, replacement is quick and easy even if the cables are of different sizes and pre-terminated at both ends.
"We consciously design our products to incorporate Roxtec seals right from the start. The advantage is we then have 100% integrated solutions for those machines for which there are stringent requirements for water-tightness and ease of cleaning – and, moreover, solutions that make very good financial sense," says Per Bjerrum, head of the design department.
