Job Summary
The Warehouse Worker will pick, pack, and ship customer orders to provide a high level of Customer Service.
Essential Job Functions
- Pick and double-check orders to ensure correct parts and quantities are shipped to customers
- Label parts/kits as required for customer orders
- Product packaging and assembly as required
- Pack orders (box, crate, or pallet) so that they arrive undamaged to the customer
- Generate delivery notes in IFS Applications (deliver orders / Shipments - basic data entry)
- Process shipments through TIS, FedEx Ship Manager & UPS Worldship
- Prepare waybills & bills of lading online
- Load & Unload trucks
- Safely operate a forklift, ladders, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Check-in & put away incoming shipments. Verify the actual quantity received with the quantity on the packing list
- Support other departments with shipping and order-related questions or tasks
- Be available for annual inventory counts
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
- Be safety aware, follow all safety guidelines, and wear all required PPE
- Other warehouse, shipping & logistics activities as required
Requirements
- Good English communication skills, both written & verbal
- Effective multi-task ability in a high-volume, dynamic work environment
- Detail-oriented with good organization and time management skills required
- Maintain a good and positive attitude and work well with others
- Friendly, solution-oriented personality who is customer-focused
Education and Experience
- Completion of high school or equivalent
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Computer skills with standard office applications, and the ability to quickly learn new software
- Some customer service experience preferred
- Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Required to wear PPE as needed
