The Roxtec MCT system presents several advantages when compared to traditional systems with fixed sealing module sizes. Roxtec sealing modules adapt to cables and pipes of different sizes. You have everything you need onsite and can seal all your penetrations without the risk of missing any material.

The system can help you save time and increase efficiency. You do not have to keep hundreds of items in stock or bring dozens of modules for each seal. It is beneficial during the entire lifecycle of your asset or project – from the design and building phases through to operation, maintenance and retrofit projects.

If you still use conventional Multi Cable Transits (MCTs), you will enjoy the fact that you can optimize inventory and reduce the number of stock keeping units by 90 percent by changing to Roxtec. With six basic Roxtec module sizes, you can seal cables and pipes from 3mm to 99mm in diameter, in transits with multiple openings. Standard versions of single penetration seals handle cables or pipes with a diameter of up to 580 mm.

The generous tolerance for cable and pipe diameters makes planning, design and installation easy and saves a lot of time, since no one in the process needs to know the exact dimensions, or even the amount of cables to seal, beforehand. Design engineers can make late changes without causing issues for the installation team onsite, and installers do not have to spend time on measuring cables or pipes.

Roxtec transits are quick to install and easy to reinstall. The seals offer built-in spare capacity for future upgrades. With adaptable and fully useful spare modules in openable seals instead of filler blocks, you are always ready for upgrades and high cable density. You can open up the transits whenever you want – and just add new cables or pipes. This is what Roxtec users refer to as the “future included” feature.
