Data Privacy Policy

Roxtec values the protection of personal data, and we therefore place great emphasis on protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains and clarifies how we, as data controller, treat our visitor’s, business partners and customer’s personal data. The Privacy Policy also describes your rights and how to exercise them according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)and will apply in situations where Roxtec (hereinafter "Roxtec", "we", "us" and "our") treats personal information, including - but not limited to - information collected from the Roxtec website. The personal information we collect is data that you actively provide us with in our business relationship. The types of data could be:

Occasions when data is collected could be when ordering products and services from Roxtec, signing up for our newsletters and events, looking for vacant positions or submitting spontaneous applications.

Recipients of the personal data

Insofar it is reasonably necessary for purposes stated in this Privacy Policy, we may share your personal information with all companies in our group (i.e. subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and all its subsidiaries). We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. Exceptions are trusted third parties that help us to run the site, conduct our business, deliver the goods you order or provide service, if these parties agree to keep the information confidential and not use it for other purposes than what is agreed upon. We may also share your personal information when we find it necessary to comply with statutory requirements, maintain the site's policies or protect our or others' rights, property, or security. We have agreements with third party service providers to help us get a better view of the site visitors. These service providers are not allowed to use the information they collect on our behalf for anything other than helping us operate and improve our business.

Retention policy

We will only save your personal data for as long as it is necessary to perform our contractual obligations and as long as required by statutory storage time. When we save your personal data for purposes other than our contractual commitments, such as our legitimate interest when you sign up to our events or receive newsletter via email we save the data only as long as necessary and / or statutory for the purpose.  

Personal data will be deleted or anonymized when purpose no longer exists or legal obligation of storing the personal data ceases.

The retention time for personal data is set in accordance with the purpose and legal obligation for each processing. 

Your personal rights and how to exercise them

  • You have the right to request information about what personal data we process, or we have access to about you (subject access request). In order to ensure that nobody else is allowed access to your personal data, you will be required to identify yourself when requesting such access.
  • In some cases, you have the right to request that your personal data are erased when they are no longer necessary for the purposes which they were collected. We will erase personal data about you when the data are no longer needed but may store your personal data if required by law.
  • Roxtec is obliged to only process correct and up-to-date personal data about you. If your personal data are incorrect, you have the right to request rectification or completion of such data. You also have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, e.g. while assessing our legitimate interests.
  • You have the right to object to processing of your personal data based on our legitimate interests. You also have the right to object to direct marketing. 
  • You also have the right to receive personal data that you have provided to us and which we process electronically, through an electronic copy. You also have the right to request that the electronic copy shall be transferred to another data controller, if this is technically possible.

You have the right to submit eventual complains about processing of your personal data or report an infringement of the GDPR to your national supervisory authority.

Transfer to third country

Information we collect when you are visiting our website can be used, stored, processed and transferred between all countries in which we operate in accordance with the Privacy Policy. If we transfer your personal data to a third country, Roxtec will take appropriate safeguards to ensure your rights and freedoms, such as entering into standard data protection contracts.
