The IEEE IAS Petroleum and Chemical Industry Committee (PCIC) North America is coming up in Cincinnati this month! PCIC is an international forum for the exchange of electrical applications technology, attracting the highest level electrical, instrumentation and automation engineers and leaders from the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
Throughout the years, Roxtec representatives have participated as attendees, sponsors, authors, and committee members, including executive level leadership of these conferences. Mike Sosbe, Capital Projects Manager at Roxtec Inc. shares his views on the event.
Why do you attend PCIC?
This is a must attend event for anyone in the industrial oil and gas industry. The annual conferences bring end-users, engineering firms and manufacturers together with a common goal to improve electrical safety, develop standards and highlight best practices.
Why do you think it's important for Roxtec to participate in an industry event like this?
Roxtec views PCIC as an essential event to attend year after year. For our team it is a great forum to discuss industries standards, new innovations, and stay ahead of industry trends. Adding in the hospitality networking and luncheons it is easy to see why this conference is vital. Many of the product advancements within Roxtec have come out of conversation held right here at PCIC.
What are you hoping your customers will experience at this year's event?
Roxtec will again be in full force this year at IEEE PCIC Cincinnati with 13 representatives from all around the globe. During this show I hope our customers will have the opportunity to visit our hospitality suite and to view some of the new product lines within Roxtec, specifically in our cabinet designs which are best suited in the ever growing trend of smart I/O technology. Roxtec has a new 316 stainless steel cabinet frame which can easily accommodate 64 and 96 I/O designs.
We look forward to visiting with clients and peers in Cincinnati to enhance our industry knowledge, innovations, and most important business relationships.
