Roxtec sealing solutions have been selected onboard aircraft carrier Cavour, frigates Orizzonte and Fremm class and other ships of the Italian Navy fleet. The transits are now also used onboard the famous tall ship Amerigo Vespucci, alias “the most beautiful ship in the world”.
Sailing safely
The full-rigged three-masted school ship of the Italian Navy regularly participates in major events and has sailed on training cruises all over Europe, to the Americas and the Pacific and even around the world. It is a symbol of almost nine decades of accumulated naval expertise, and as such it should of course be equipped with the best cable and pipe transits available.
Assisting onsite
The ship was built in the Castellammare di Stabia Shipyard in 1930. It has recently undergone extensive refurbishment. The complete modernization of the electrical system was conducted by naval defense. Roxtec experts were also present to assist during the retrofit installations as well as for the final transit verification.
