Cable and pipe sealing solutions provider Roxtec has acquired Roxtec BV from Arie Sturm and Wim Jansen. Roxtec BV, with thirteen employees, has been the group’s distributor in the Netherlands since 1994.
Roxtec BV has over the years developed an extensive experience and customer relations in industries such as shipbuilding, wind energy, natural gas, telecom and process industries. The acquisition adds to Roxtec group's global presence which now includes a total of 26 fully owned sales subsidiaries.
"Roxtec BV has been a very successful distributor for Roxtec cable and pipe transits. After 22 years of great cooperation between our global organization and the local team in the Netherlands, we will now be able to develop our services in a fully integrated manner. I am also very pleased to
announce that Arie Sturm and Wim Jansen, who together with their team have built the business, will remain as managing directors," says Mikael Helmerson, CEO of Roxtec.
"The integration gives Roxtec BV more power to strengthen its position in the Netherlands with an even better technical back-up and support, which is good for the existing and future customers" says Arie Sturm, who together with Wim Jansen is one of the two managing directors of Roxtec in the Netherlands.
Roxtec's turnover in the fiscal year 2015/2016 was MEUR 195 and the number of employees was 720.
