In many of their recent projects, electric construction and installation company Elinco in Spain, has used Roxtec sealing solutions instead of cable glands in control cabinets and junction boxes.
“We found that the installation time was much quicker with Roxtec cabinet seals compared to cable glands and that the overall cost was lower,” says Paulino Lòpez Beceiro, estimating manager at Elinco.
Elinco supports the shipbuilding industry in Spain with engineering design, electrical installations and manufacturing of electrical equipment such as switchboards and control cabinets. They also carry out repair works on electrical installations onboard, for example, military vessels, civil vessels and offshore platforms. Their reference list includes prestigious projects for Navantia Shipyard, where they have participated in building vessels for the Spanish, Australian, Norwegian, Venezuelan and Algerian navies.
“We appreciate the quality of Roxtec products and the support provided. We always get quick deliveries and fast support in terms of necessary documentation, such as certification and technical documentation,” says Alberto Freire Cernadas, Navantia divisional manager at Elinco.
