Roxtec – winner of the HazardEx 2011 Awards
The successful work of Roxtec on wind farms in the UK has resulted in another prestigious prize – the HazardEx Awards in the category "Environmental protection".
"I am delighted as the award demonstrates our company’s knowledge and experience in the renewables market," says Graham O'Hare, Managing Director of Roxtec in the UK.
The award for environmental contribution to industry goes to a company which has used energy efficient processes or products within potentially explosive atmospheres. Roxtec cable and pipe penetration seals protect equipment from fire, flooding and explosion.
The award was given to Roxtec by HazardEx, a leading journal for health, safety and hazardous areas at the annual HazardEx exhibition, conference and awards event. It took place in Harrogate, UK. Roxtec representatives Gavin Cornall and John Kayes collected the prize at the gala dinner attended by more than 200 industry professionals.
