Roxtec supplies equipment to Kazakhstan oilfield project

Roxtec is, since last year, contracted by oil giant Agip KCO to provide cable transit seals to the onshore processing facilities of the Kashagan oilfield in the Caspian Sea. Roxtec products are used to seal the instrument control cables into the satellite instrumentation control buildings, the oil processing facility, gas processing facility and sulphur processing buildings. The seals are installed in the walls and floors of the buildings to protect against fire, water and gas leakage.
“The use of our cable transit design software by the electrical and instrumentation engineers was critical to the success of the project. This also ensured that we worked with the client from early design through to construction,” says Graham O’Hare, Managing Director of Roxtec UK.
