Roxtec seals keep the positive pressure during the 2010 FIFA World Cup

2010-06-16

Roxtec pipe seals are used in the cellular switch rooms of several soccer arenas hosting the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. The gas-tight seals are installed where the air-conditioning pipes penetrate the wall from the outside. The purpose of the sealing is to maintain the positive pressure on the inside of the switch rooms of the mobile telecommunication operators MTN and Vodacom. Roxtec products help ensuring reliable communications in the following stadia: Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit, Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg, Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth and Green Point Stadium in Cape Town.
