Roxtec India obtains ISO certification

The operations of the rapidly growing Roxtec subsidiary in India, Roxtec India Pvt Ltd, are certified according to the international quality standard ISO 9001:2008. The final audit for certification was performed by the classification society Bureau Veritas on February 26. This covers development, design, manufacturing and sales of Roxtec’s sealing system for routing of cables and pipes. It will be beneficial within product development and internal communication within processes. It will also help increase Roxtec sales in the Indian market, since more and more customers require certification.
“The auditors were impressed by our quality policy, the Roxtec Core Values, as well as by our objectives, our good measurement tools for objectives and the involvement of the whole team for effective implementation,” says Navin Rai, Manager Operation in the production department at Roxtec India.
The certification and documentation process started at Roxtec India last autumn. A very stringent internal audit was held before the external and final audit by Bureau Veritas. The external audit resulted in no non-conformances.
