Roxtec completes laboratory project with Total

Roxtec has worked with oil and gas giant Total E&P on the multi million pound refurbishment of a laboratory at the St Fergus Gas Terminal based north of Aberdeen. The terminal receives natural gas from 20 North Sea fields, which supply up to 30 per cent of the UK's gas with the terminal's laboratory facility testing and monitoring the various gases coming through the pipeline.
According to Graham O'Hare, Managing Director of Roxtec in the UK, Roxtec has supplied air-tight seals to the laboratory with each transit protecting up to 10 power or data cables.
"The seals play a key role in protecting the safety of the building, its assets and critically the people working in the laboratory in case of accident."
