New shielded cable seals from Roxtec
Roxtec extends the range of cable seals protecting against electromagnetic interference with the Roxtec ComSeal™ EMC product family. The new seals combine the features of the globally used Roxtec ComSeal™ products with solutions for potential equalization and electromagnetic shielding. Designed for industrial and telecom applications such as converters, generators and cabinets, they make installation work easy – even in small areas filled with equipment.
The seals are approved for IP 54 and tested for many application areas. Features like high shielding effectiveness for radiated interference, high current surge capability for impulse currents and the ability to withstand constant ground currents are documented.
Each Roxtec EMC sealing module in the Roxtec ComSeal™ EMC frame is adaptable to cables of different sizes thanks to Multidiameter™, the Roxtec solution based on removable layers. The system allows the use of pre-terminated cables and provides spare capacity for additional cables.
