Better before – and after
At an early stage of the construction, openings in the structure can be made and fully sealed until installation. During construction, there is no risk for the contractor being too dependent on cable and pipe suppliers or delivery times. After construction, maintenance is easy, and there is no problem modifying or adding cables as future capacity is built-in.
High safety demands
In tunnel and road projects, for example, sealing requirements increase. In order to meet these requirements, contractors turn to solutions provided by Roxtec. Our modular-based system is being used to seal pipe penetrations for water mist systems as well as for power, radio, optic fiber and supervision camera cables.
The easier alternative
Problems like water intrusion in manholes, hand-boxes and vent buildings have been solved through replacing existing duct seals and foam solutions with Roxtec seals.
