The BorWin Alpha of E.ON Netz in the North Sea is one of the biggest and most remote offshore wind farm cluster link projects in the world.

The power generated will be transmitted by ABB HVDC Light, a high voltage direct current transmission system enabling long distance transport with minimum loss.

Turn-key vendor ABB Power Systems specified Roxtec EMC seals to ensure protection against water, fire, dust, and electro-magnetic disturbance.

Roxtec products are used throughout the entire project – by wind turbine manufacturers as well as transmission specialists.
