Installation

Installing RTM Software is easy. Just follow the instructions on the screen. Select network or client & server installation depending on your needs. A network installation requires a network of computers connected to a server. The client & server installation allows a standalone installation suitable for laptops or if your computer is disconnected from the network. Normally, following the default settings will work best for you.

Can be installed in Windows XP, Vista or 7.

Note: If you upgrade from an older version, you must follow these steps to avoid losing saved data.

  • Install RTM 2.0
  • Start RTM 2.0 and select import from RTM 1.6. This will automatically search your computer for projects made in earlier versions and convert them to the new software.
  • Open the settings folder and schedule your backup of saved data.
  • Uninstall RTM 1.6 from your computer. It is possible to have both versions installed at the same time without conflict.

Updates RTM 2.0 

In early copies, multiple pages are not possible to print out to pdf or paper copies from the drawing preview mode. This effects drawings with three pages or more since the third page and forth are printed as blanks. Simply download and save the posted .dll file to your computer to solve the problem.  

Instructions:

  • Close open sessions of RTM
  • Download the file (RTM.Packing.DXFExport.dll)
  • Find the folder on your computer where RTM 2.0 is installed
  • Replace the old file with the same name
  • Start RTM
